The name of the urbanization, Les Bateries, comes from the fact that during the Civil War, on the top of the small hill (Puig Gustinoi) where the urbanization is located today, the anti-aircraft batteries of the Republican army were installed, of which there is still a concrete structure converted into a viewpoint from where there is a spectacular view of the entire bay of Sant Feliu ref. 4442
