Porta Ferrada is once again the festival with the most performances and spectators on the Costa Brava, with 73 shows and more than 60,000 attendees.
In a mythical edition with record numbers, the oldest festival in Catalonia has established itself as the meeting point of the cultural summer in southern Europe with 13 exclusive concerts, 15 international artists and 25 Catalan productions.
The 61st edition of the Porta Ferrada Festival featured a total of 73 shows with great international artists such as Crystal Fighters, Jethro Tull, Wilco, Pink Martini, Ludovico Einaudi, Ben Harper, Earth Wind & Ferio Experience by Al MacKay and Jorge Drexler, as well as a large representation of Catalan artists such as Nuria Graham, La Pegatina, Macaco, Blaumut, Sopa de Cabra, Ramon Mirabet, Tina Gorina, Mishima and El Bote Pequeño.
All this in an edition in which the festival has taken a step forward in favour of sustainability and responsibility towards the environment and the surroundings, in order to generate a positive and sustainable impact on the life of the Costa Brava.
For yet another year Helena Jornet Finques continues to support culture and a city model that makes culture an engine of social, tourist and economic prosperity for Sant Feliu de Guíxols, the Costa Brava and its people.
