The #JornetFest donates €21,761.15 to the Impulsa Foundation

On the afternoon of July 27 th , Helena Jornet Finques re-launched the #JornetFest with the same eagerness to celebrate life and with the same essence, but with an extra ingredient: solidarity. And with a clear objective in mind: making a difference in a wonderful social and solidary initiative that Fundació Impulsa is developing in Baix Empordà.

Nearing 200 clients, friends and contributors enjoyed a magical summer night, with good music, great food and loads of surprises, a super raffle and the best company. And all this in an idyllic environment: Festival Porta Ferrada’s village in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, of which Helena Jornet Finques is one of the main sponsors.

Thanks to all the contributions, the #JornetFest gathered a total of 26.829,85€. “We are proud to be able to destine 21.761,15€ (more than 81% of your contributions) to Fundació Impulsa’s task that’s being developed in Baix Empordà”, explained Helena Jornet.

Therefore less than 19% had to be earmarked to pay for the event itself. And that was made possible thanks to the generosity of Festival Porta Ferrada, The Project, the Ajuntament de
Sant Feliu and Marc Regincós’ catering team. Thanks to the in kind donations from the butcheries Arnall and Can Kiku, Fishmongers shop La Ganxoneta, Can Gironés’ , La vienesa’s and Maison Marcel’s pastries, and La Bodegueta d'en Ferrer, Aigües de Vilajuïga, Vallformosa, Estrella Damm and Ajuntament de Sant Antoni de Calonge.

Fundació Impulsa will destine the #JornetFest earnings to sponsor 11 more youngsters from Baix Empordà. Young people with commitment and motivation for further education, but in a
vulnerable socio-economic situation receive Fundació Impulsa’s support to attend Professional Formation cycles (FP) and improve their employment insertion. They are awarded a vocational training scholarship, a laptop, transversal studies, with the company of a mentor, a local entity’s volunteering work and the confidence of having a Foundation by their side.
